Over 8,000 lightbulbs were used within the design, chosen specifically to emit a light that is scientifically proven to increase moods.

A Solid Steel Framing Design
The design was created from steel framing, fabricated in the Unique Creative Workshop. 8,000 lightbulbs were then added, and translucent yellow acrylic sheets finished the installation.
Craft
The largest Sun installation
The Second Sun is illuminated by over 8,000 bulbs that emit a specific light designed to lower seasonal depression during the darker winter months. At 18 metres wide and 8 meters tall, it is thought to be the largest sun installation created.
Deliver
Installtion across the Country
From Dunedin, Wellington, Tauranga and Auckland, the team installed the second sun with Mercury across Aotearoa for their campaign.
